Lindsay earned her B.A/B.Ed. in 2008 from the U of L. She is married with two children and a dog. Her educational journey led her into Substitute Teaching, Education Assistant roles and running her own Dayhome – this made her a more available mommy than fulltime teaching would have allowed!
In 2018 she began as a Child Development Assistant at Pacekids Programs in Calgary and was the shuttle driver between programs. Lindsay also worked with her kiddos online during the pandemic! Lindsay and her family just moved to Strathmore for the 'small-town life’ so she will be a great fit for Langdon's small-town atmosphere.
Lindsay also has a passion for working with special needs children and has dedicated special interest in indigenous culture. We are confident she will be a great addition to our team!
Hi Kiddos and Parents…. I am looking forward to meeting all of you and I assure you that I will help provide a safe, caring and fun place to be at Langdon Learning Center!
I was a nanny for 5 years to three kids who were my flower girls and ring bearer at my wedding! I have been a camp counsellor, taught Sunday School, Substitute taught grades 4-9, worked as an Education Assistant in Calgary and Lethbridge, and worked at Pacekids kindergarten.
I also ran my own day home for 3+ years and boy did we have fun! Ever since I can remember I have LOVED taking care of, teaching and hanging out with KIDS! My family and I enjoy camping at our own campsite by Waterton, going to skateparks and playgrounds, swimming and gymnastics. I hope you have had a good summer and are ready for friends and fun activities this coming school year!
