KINDER CARE

Our Kinder Care program promotes healthy learning for 5-6-year-olds in a fun indoor-outdoor classroom environment.   

Children learn best through fun engaging activities such as art expression, imaginative play, gross motor, and organized group play. We explore fun activities outside daily to expand our learning in a natural setting. We are right next door to the school park, so it's very convenient for bathroom breaks.

We understand that KinderCare is an extension of their learning when at their school. This is a great way for your child to graduate from part-time school days to full-time days when they head off to grade one the following year. 

Our students are well adjusted to this change making it much easier on parents and students. 

Our kinder care classes are capped at 20 students making this a great time to have a variety of playmates and receive more one-on-one time with their caring teachers. 

Our current kindergarten teacher has a Bachelor of Education (same as their kindergarten teacher) and a level 3 Early Learning Child Care certification. The customized program enhances auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learning skills for students. Your child is in great hands at the Langdon Learning Centre! 

Your child is kindergarten eligible if they turn 5 years old, on or before December 31st. 

All of this for very competitive prices: 

Full-Time Kinder Care -  $772.50/mo

• Transport to and from Sarah Thompson is $75/mo
• Includes full daycare during RVS PD days & holiday closures not including stat holidays.

Did you know? all government regulated programs that use vehicle transport, must follow these rules: 

1. Provincially approved & regulated vehicle.
2. Driver must have a class 4 license.
3. Driver must have a minimum level 1 ELCC certification.

This is an expensive addition to any program, which is why there is an added cost for vehicle transportation to and from Sarah Thompson School. When temperatures reach -20 or colder, we feel this is a necessary service to provide to your child because we take your child's safety as our #1 priority.
