About Shalu

Shalu Sharma has 15 years of experience in teaching and working with children. She is a positive individual who enjoys the presence of children and would love to improve their development and better their outlook on life. She also believes the young ages of a child are very tender and crucial, and the significance of having an influential and genuine figure is advantageous for their growth. 

She is a registered early childhood educator, who has had the opportunity to advance her vast knowledge and capabilities as she has completed both a Master's degree in Public Administration, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed). UCMAS (a brain development program for children) has offered her a platform to best utilize and practice her passion for educating children in a professional fashion. 

Working in child care not only benefited the children she once taught but also herself, as she gained a sense of achievement seeing students flourish into fine and intelligent scholars along the way.

As soon as I landed here in Canada, the specialty that I chose that gave me the utmost happiness was working with young children. I started off working in a daycare, then opened my own licensed dayhome – which I ran for 7 years. Now I have my own preschool, and Langdon Learning Centre is a step in the right direction of that ongoing journey.
